Legal information
What we undertake to do, what we expect from you, and what happens when weather, injury or unforeseen circumstances intervene.
This translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version shall prevail.
These terms govern private ski and snowboard lessons and related activities, including freeride, ski touring and children’s instruction, offered by Association des moniteurs de ski The One Courchevel, trading as The One Courchevel, within Courchevel and Les 3 Vallées.
Every booking request constitutes acceptance of these terms in the version published online on the date of the request.
No online payment is taken on this website. A request submitted through the Booking page, by telephone, WhatsApp or email is an availability enquiry and does not reserve anything at that stage.
We reply personally, generally within two hours. A booking becomes binding only when you receive our written confirmation stating the dates, number of skiers, assigned instructor and total price.
Deposit: no deposit is required; our written confirmation makes the booking binding.
Prices for the 2026/2027 season, per instructor and for a group of one to six skiers:
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| Full dayapproximately 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | From €800 |
Prices are stated in euros and include all applicable taxes; see the VAT arrangements in the legal notice.
Payment must be made in full before the service begins, by bank transfer, payment link, bank card or cash, according to the arrangements stated in our written confirmation.
Any amount not paid when due automatically bears interest, without prior notice, at the increased statutory interest rate, together with the fixed €40 recovery charge applicable to business clients under Articles L. 441-10 and D. 441-5 of the French Commercial Code.
Cancellation received eight weeks or more before the first day of the service: full refund. Between eight and four weeks beforehand: 50% refund. Less than four weeks before the first day: no refund.
Every request to change dates is considered in good faith and accepted where our availability permits. Otherwise, the cancellation schedule applies.
Late arrival or non-attendance on the day: the session is neither postponed nor refunded. A session missed without informing us remains payable in full.
A simple lack of snow at low altitude, overcast skies or severe cold give rise neither to a postponement nor to a credit note where the ski area remains open and suitable for skiing.
Under Article L. 221-28(12) of the French Consumer Code, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services supplied on a specified date or during a specified period. Only the cancellation schedule in Article 6 applies.
Our professional civil liability is insured; see the legal notice. This insurance does not cover bodily injury where we are not at fault, piste or off-piste rescue costs, repatriation, or theft of or damage to your equipment.
We strongly recommend taking out personal accident insurance covering skiing, including off-piste skiing where applicable, together with search and rescue costs.
Photographs and videos taken during a session are only published with your explicit consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to contact@the-one-courchevel.com.
Complaints must be sent to us in writing at contact@the-one-courchevel.com. We reply personally and first seek an amicable solution.
If no amicable solution is found, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer ombudsman (Article L. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code). Their contact details and how to file a case are set out in the legal notice.
These terms are governed by French law. If no amicable agreement can be reached, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts. A consumer retains the right to bring proceedings before the court for their place of residence.
